Default Front CF lip from Ebay - A good buy?

Hi all,

I am just curious about what others think of this lip:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2010-Lexus-IS250-IS350-Carbon-Fiber-Front-Bumper-Lips-Spoiler-Bodykit-/161338082949?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AIS250&hash=item25907fc685&vxp=mtr
It's hard to find front lip for 2010, and although I do want the GFX lip from Sewell the most, it's over $500.

This CF lip also costs $350, so I am thinking to might as well save up more and longer for GFX kit from Sewell. Is that what y'all would recommend too?

My car is 212-Obsidian.

Thanks!

Fitment might be a hit or miss as most reps or non OEM parts.

I'd rock it, since your options are slim.

Looks good but you will need to get something aggressive for the rear and sides to pull it off.

That's a very good point. Thanks!

Still debating. Same seller also has one made of 'fiberglass' and cost is less - $199. He used same pictures for both items though.

I have this lip (thats my car in the ad) and no complaints. Fitment is a 8/10 and seller was responsive to my questions.

Yes - more aggressive sides and rear are needed to pull this off, but unfortunately way too cold in NY now to work on the car (will install cf splitters & myride rear)

Depends on the color of your car I think. If you get carbon then you'd need to get more carbon pieces through the rest of the exterior. If not buy the cheaper one and paint it.

looks similar to a chargespeed lip for the 2009-2010 IS, which costs almost $1k new for CF

the FRP one is not bad considering my car is silver (a cf lip on silver might look too rice if the car is not aggressive enough overall)

Wow, I never thought the owner of the car in the picture would reply to my post!
Thanks for the input. I was leaning towards making the purchase, but the point about sides and rear does make sense - Something I haven't thought about. Still debating whether or not to save more for GFX kit from Sewell. I think I can only do the front with GFX since it is subtle.

Its doesn't lower your front so much so subtle sides can do the trick. It comes outwards more than it goes low. In fact I'm on springs and haven't scraped the lip yet on any driveways dips etc

Have my eyes on the gfx too but couldn't justify the price for two small splitters.

This is the lip going straight up my driveway with no angling

Hey you should do some more photoshoots of your car

I want to see how the lip looks and how "low" it looks on the car overall considering you're AWD on springs (same as me, 09 AWD on road magnets)

I see. How low is your car?
I am on F Sport springs, so only 1', thinking you are probably a little lower than that.
