Default 07 RWD IS250 - Does not start NO IGNITION

My car has been working perfectly. It has not given any sign of malfunctions. All I did was to remove the cellphone charger from the front cigarette lighter and insert the cigarette lighter for a friend and from there it does not start. All 4 windows and sunroof are slightly open about a inch to be precise. When I step of the break pedal to start the ignition button is green but if I try again it does not start and it goes back orange. The following checks have been done:

1. Battery is good (none the less, the start lights or lights fromt he dashboard does not turn on)
2. All 4 fuse boxes are check, all fuses are well amp.
3. Security system was reset
4. Scan was don't but does not say anything

What other items would you recommend? Does this sound like a fuse or a ignition button issue? Batteries for both smart keys are working and new. PLEASE HELP

When dod you replace the battery? If it's still OEM - it's time to change.

Battery was replaced back in April and its working fine. A brand new battery was placed to check/test and the issue persist

did you try to disconnect the battery??
If not try that and see what happens. Or could be a faulty battery.
Check all the ground wires.

Please let us know if you find out what was wrong...

The gear is in parking. My mechanic said he will check the ignition button. Besides the ignition button is there any other item to check?

Can you turn on the car (i.e. don't step on the brake, and push the button)?

Even if I press the start button the car does not start nor shoes all lights on the dash. The only light that comes on on the dashboard says: Moonroof Open.

If I try to start the car with my feet on the brake pedal (normal procedure), the same message comes on the dash (moonroof open) and the car does not start.

I noticed that he was able to use a cable and unifiy them to the two fuse boxes in the motor (the one close to the batter and the other right hand side of the motor) and the car starts. But he is still not able to find out what's wrong. He also certain its not a fuse link. Any more ideas guys?

So we was able to bypass something and was able to start the car?

So when you have your foot on the brake the start button lights green. But after you press it, it changes to orange? Guessing no CELs here?

The ONLY other thing I can think of was ONE thread I read where the member ended up having to accessing the gear selector bypass to move the selector around. Some sensor didn't read that the car was in PARK and didn't start for that reason. After moving through the different gears and putting it back in PARK, the car ended up starting fine. Kinda a fluke mis-reading thing I guess.

Ok that makes some sence. I will go back to my mechanic and expose your opinion to him. But am concerned about the windows and why they do not roll up and down if this is the case?

So far there are no CEL's. So is there a specific sensor that reads the car is in Park? What about the windows? What can disable them to work?
