Hey guys I just picked up the wald rep trunk lip and I want to mold it. What's the average price you its pay for? So far im quoted $600 to mold and paint match.

Thats a good price. But it all depends on the location. Here in norcal its usually 700-1000

$600 sounds like a really good price actually. I got mine done in SF and it cost me around ~$675

Make sure that the shop is reputable and does good work. The problem with molding the spoiler is that the spoiler will separate because of the impact of the opening and closing of the trunk.

That is a really good price for the Bay Area. I would have expected more. Socal is generally a good amount cheaper.

I If you want:

A decent job, decent shop that comes out good but imperfections exist then expect to pay $500 - $750

A great-to-excellent job will be nearly perfect and should honestly cost $900/$1,000+

Of course you also need to pick the right shop but if you want a flawless mold then it takes an excellent eye, patience, time, and quality material which will all cost more.
