If I bring it to a Lexus dealership will they just take care of the carbon recall no questions asked? And will they provide a loaner car, or would I have to pay for that? The car is an 09 250 with 74k miles. Ive been looking at 350's but decided I want to save some money and just get a 250, even though I know 350 is wayy better in almost every regard.

I brought my '06 250 into the dealer for another issue (wiper nut recall) told them I had my car go into safemode (blinking MIL and VSC/TRAC). They gave me a loaner free of charge and had my car for about a month. Provided a new clutch/pressure plate and replaced my clutch for me free of charge since everything was all apart.

IMO get the 350 and you'll be happier.

I wish I could find one for a good deal nearby, but theyre ridiculously hard to come by. Theres one that I like but it has a "major accident" on carfax which worries me.
