stock should be a 225/40/18 and 255/40/18.

anyway, generally from what I've seen, you can usually go up about 10-20 on the width, but then you'd want to reduce the height of the sidewall. So maybe something like 235/35/18 or 245/35/18 for the front, and then 265/35/18 or 275/35/18 on the rear. I don't know if it's been done, just an example of what I've seen from other cars in the past.

Thank you Kevin that's what I thought should work. Has anyone put oversized tires on their stock height is250? Please post

^Oh yes, definitely! You could easily do those 265/35/18s if you wanted; I was going this route until I got my 19s.

^Safely 235/35/18s; but I have read others doing with 245/35, but rubbing is possible.

You can go 245/35/18 on the front without any rubbing issues (if you're on stock height).

^Sport/X-package supposedly has 1/4"shorter springs.

Red, what package did your car come with?

You're not worried about the speedometer being off?

The difference is going to be minimal. Less than a 1mph difference at 65mph. The stock speedo doesn't have the accuracy or the resolution for that to make any difference in the world.

Yep. Even 245/40 will only be about 1.6mph off. 245/35 would put it almost 1mph off the other direction, just to give an idea of what you might be looking at if you change them.

Also, the 235/40 would give about a 1/8" taller sidewall. 245/40 about 1/4" taller. 245/35 about 1/8" shorter.

Just something else to consider (the actual appearance, I mean)
