Chances are the antenna is not plugged in to the unit. If you manually track, do you only get static?

If you do get stations and haven't unplugged your antenna, chances are your area cant get a strong radio signal which is unusual but common. In my driveway, especially when I am on my radio unit in my motorcycle helmet, it wont pick up any radio stations until I am on the main road.

Yeah, more than likely one of the inputs from the back of the unit were not fully seated back into the unit or was left unconnected.

The shark fin is for XM. The AM/FM radio connects to an antenna grid on the rear window. (the top wires, looks like part of the rear defroster)
