Clearly the SA is clueless. It was a MY later than '08 where AFS was no longer offered--I think it coincided with LED DRLs. I had one of these as a loaner, without AFS. But it still had auto level.

Thank you everyone.

He had his manager talked to me today (not sure if he's just tired of talking to me or not dared to talk to me anymore), and his manager admits that my car does come with AFS that moves up/down/right/left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The manager said that they have done a through inspection and my headlight is working normally now!

So I want to thank you all for providing your precious comment and I finally got this right with your help!!! Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!! <333333

^YAY! Now go test it out on some low-speed corners at night; I can easily tell when mine are moving when driving about in my housing development.

There should be a small area where the two light beams merged. This section of light should projecting somewhat constant on the road when you have AFS ON. Kinda hard to explain but you should be able to tell once you turn AFS ON/OFF and pay extra attention (you gonna missed having AFS once you get used to it). I hope this makes some sense

Just purchased an IS250 2008 and enabled the AFS option. Now while driving, I notice only the headlights turn to the left while driving. Is there a way to figure out why they're not turning to the right? When I start the car and turn on the headlights the do the auto leveling (up and down) properly. I find it very hard to believe that there could only be an issue with them turning to the right.

Any tips or ideas? Thanks guys!!!

I found this interesting article online. Maybe your speed and turning radius did not meet the requirement to activate AFS. Also, the the light will turn more to the Left.

They rotate 15 degrees left, but only 5 degrees right. You don't need to illuminate the sidewalk around a curve to the right.
