Wheel Color Opinion Needed!
Hey All,
Recently picked up a set of BC Coils (Shouts to BoyOhBoy), but I have yet to put 'em on. Was maybe thinking of just getting my wheels and putting everything on together.
For the most part I'm pretty set on LC818's, but the question is what color? I'm torn between Hyper Black and Hyper Silver. I do kind of dig the darker color of the stock graphite 18s, but I was thinking the Hyper Silvers would pop more.
I know, to each their own, and it depends on what I think looks better, but I'd love to hear the CL fam's opinion!
Btw: my car is a USB IS350
Also, the Hyper Blacks would be more expensive. Anyone have a set of Hyper Silver's they're selling in NorCal/Bay Area, that would make the decision easier haha.

Ohh wsup! Didn't know this was your clublexus username. Anyways I'd go for silver since I don't like black wheels period but also because it's cheaper and will be easier to sell considering it will go with pretty much any car color. My one cent. Kinda biased bc I don't like black though.

Thanks for the feedback guys. No I feel you, I don't like black wheels either, that's why I wasn't even considering the Satin Black option they have avail. The hyperblack is more of a dark gray? Here's a pic of it on a e90 since they didn't really make em for IS fit
Hyper Black on an e90
Hyper Silver on a 2IS
I can't really find any pics of LC818's on a USB 2IS, other than some satin black ones. Let me know what you guys think. I'm starting to lean towards silver though

I'm having the same debate internally right now. Same wheels also. I have obsidian and while I would love to black everything out, I think silver would set it off nicely for some decent contrast. If the wheels were a gloss black instead of matte, it would make me pick black wheels instantly. Matte just blends in too much with the tires.

Thanks for all the input guys! I'm leaning Hypersilver just because it's a bit cheaper, and I think people are right that it will set it off a bit more.
The hyper black isn't really a black. it's more of a dark gray, gunmetal look I guess? I def don't like the Satin Black look that's offered just because it does have the blend effect with the tires.
got556 - I think with the Obsidian, I'd go Hyper Silver--It would look pretty much like that one up there that I posted.
Sffd103 - I know there was a USB IS350 that was being modeled for a shop, when they released the LC818s early on. But they do actually regularly make Hyper Silver and Satin Black. It's the Hyper Black color that I'd have to get specially made.
