Default ECU Swapping Questions

I tried to search and could not come up with a definitive answer. I found these threads which were quite useful:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ering-ecu.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...vdim-work.html

So my questions:
What ECU's do our cars have? VDIM, Steering, Main, anything else?
All ECU's plug and play, interchangable between all years? Benefits of ISF ecu's if plug and play?
I want the 07+ Traction off 3 second hold vs my 06 pedal dance, is it possible?

I'm looking for specific info on my 06, and interchangability between all 2IS.

Thanks

you can buy the 07+ IS skid computer to get rid of the pedal dance. I dont know the part numbers so make sure you get the one thats 07+

You can also swap in 2011+ ISF steering computers to improve the steering feel. You have to get those calibrated with a Techstream

The 07+ skid control is part# 89540-53290 and will have a VT on the label... It is located under the glove box, simply remove the access panel to get to it, and it is held in place by 3 bolts. Very simple install... I will caution you that if you install it(in an 06), when you disengage traction control via the button you will get a warning message in the display screen that says "vsc test mode" and the red triangle with exclamation point. I have not been able to find out if the dealer can remove this warning.

Here is one for sale on ebay:
