18" wheels on AWD with stock height
Hi,
Can anyone post pics of 18inch wheels on an AWD which has a bigger wheel gap than the RWD?
Please post side shots, angle shots and indicate type of wheel, tire size, and offset.
Thanks!
I could only find a photo from post 86 here:
Will those Wheels Fit an IS250 AWD - Part Uno
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...art-uno-6.html
and none of the photos from this link shows an AWD unless I'm mistaken

Lead Lap

Awd sits higher than rwd stock. Wheel gap for awd is ridiculous with any size wheels. If Ure trying to go with 18s and not drop at all possibly get some really thick tires to help close some of the gap but eh.... Still wouldn't look right with no drop at all. Everyone here's gonna tell u that

So RDIS250AWD, do your photos show stock gap on an AWD?
Getting thicker tires means the speedo would be off.
I'm a bit leery about lowering the AWD as I've seen threads about vibration.

AWD with 18s"
I have a 2006 AWD with 18" rims (225/40/R18 tires), stock offset (45mm) and stock suspension (no lowering springs... maybe do that next year, I hate the gap). Hope this helps.

Your pics are hard to see as they are kind of dark making it difficult to see the black tire outlines in the black gaps, but thanks for posting.

I was hoping someone could post wheels with a 35mm offset or more, so that you don't see the horizontal component of the gap so much.
