Default 2006 IS350 60K Service

Hello Guise,

With my 60k coming up, I would like to confirm what's all the best that can be done for my baby!
I know there may be multiple threads on this so I apologize in advance.

I plan on purchasing this kit from Sewell.

http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2006/2087.html

Is it fine that I purchase this kit, or would I be better off purchasing from a local auto store?

Isn't there something special I can do to get a discount through Sewell?

& do you guys recommend anything else I should get done outside of what is included in the kit?

Thanks in advance!

you might save about $100 or so going thru sewell or other auto stores...but your main cost is going to be labor cost...changing spark plugs.

Total Cost for 60k mile service by Lexus - about $1200 to $1500.

so trying to save $100 or so...is just really wasting time and effort...

so just let Lexus do it...

good luck

Just take it to a shop you trust. I did mine 60k for $200 labor at Music Box by Tommy in El Monte, CA. Shop around.

Just buy your own supplies and have a shop do the labor. The dealers will charge a neck and arm for it.

I plan on replacing the spark plugs myself. they are easily accessible once the intake manifold plenum is removed. if you are mechanically inclined, go for it!

With the CL discount, that same kit is only $135.xx + shipping.

i would hold-off brake fluid flush until i get new brakes; so the flush doesn't disrupt the system. but that is me.
