I just got a big amount for cheap shipped from china. Cut a large piece and get it on the taillight and cut the amount you need. Easy peezy.

I did the same thing with a cheap Chinese roll. Didn't look near as good as the pretty cut ones from eBay. And not because of my cutting, it was the quality and how much of the orange it could cover up and matching the rest of the tail light.

Thanks. Just ordered one. So do you apply it like tint, spray some window cleaner on tail lights and apply and smooth out

Pretty sure this is the eBay seller that I bought mine from a year or so ago. Cut was perfect and they still look great.

I just installed new redouts on my 2IS yesterday; after 3yrs the vinyl became more of a dull, matte finish instead of glossy. I used a small spray bottle with a few drops of dish soap, a heat gun, and my fingers. I recommend just using your fingers on such a small area because it minimizes the chances of scratching the vinyl. Also, I spray both the taillight AND the vinyl surface ONCE. Lay flat, press out the water, and apply heat. A little instant detailer on a microfiber cloth will clean up the overspray and other hand prints.

I redded mine out with VHT nightshades and some warned me of fading but its been a few months with the car parked outside in the Cali sun with no fading or dulling whatsoever It may be too early yet. I tried the film but I guess I am film/vinyl retarded cuz I couldnt get them to look good (lots of wrinkles on the rounded edges) so I just went with the paint since I have done that before on a couple other cars including my old GS400-I have a post on the 2GS forum on that project and one on here for my current redout job.

Edit: I ran out and took pics of the lights on the car now (sorry, car is dirty and pics taken with a potato)
