Rear view mirror to end all threads
Hey guys,
There are about 40 threads about rear view mirror replacement on here. I wanted to make one to end all of them, a very simple solution. I did my research for about 3 weeks before I finally settled with my solution. I know that the mirror starts to crack and chip and peel away, mine was getting so bad that i could barely see out of it.
So I first called the Lexus Dealership. They initally quoted me a price of $1115. That is obviously ridiculous, so I called lexus customer service. They said they would give me a discount, and then the total came to $860. This is still obviously ridiculous, so I looked elsewhere.
I asked a friend whose dad is a mechanic, and he said he found replacement rear view mirrors for about $600, still ridiculous.
I finally settled with radar-mirror.com, which only costs $110 to fix the mirror. I found a local car clinic which took the mirror off and put it back on for only $25. So the TOTAL I paid to get my mirror replaced was about $140. I would suggest everyone to go through radar-mirror. They are quick and do a good job. The only problem is getting the rear view mirror off your car, which is kind of complicated and I would rather pay someone $20 to try it myself.
Hope this helps all you guys, because I spent far too much time trying to fix my mirror. I finally found a good, cheap solution.

Yeah just go to that link above^^. Just buy the mirror online, ship it to that TX location, and they will ship it back to you. Very easy and simple. The only hard part is taking the actual mirror off and putting it back on
