So i was looking at the navigation for this website since Flyaudio Stopped making them for the nonstock navigation cars. So i was wondering, has anybody bought from them? Is it a trusted website?

How does it work? Is it almost like OEM? Does everything work properly?

Is it perfect? No. The technology is a bit outdated in some aspects. However, it is a great alternative to not having navi at all and much simpler than an OEM navigation swap.

No regrets at all about buying my unit.

Alibaba is a website that connects people with Chinese manufacturers and wholesalers. Alibaba is best for large quantity orders as it is a bit time consuming and riskier. They do not get involved directly with the transactions.

Aliexpress is like a branch off of Aliexpress. It is similar to a 'buy it now' on eBay. The prices are visible and you just click buy, pay by credit card and Aliexpress will hold the funds. Once you receive your item you confirm that it has been received and they release the funds. If there are issues, you may open a dispute (super easy), explain the issue and what you would like done to resolve the issue.

Aliexpress is the easiest and safest method. If you are looking to get the best deal possible, then you will want to negotiate on Alibaba.

I recommend getting the OEM backup camera with your navigation unit (it's a ***** to install the camera though).

The unit itself is a Roadrover CL-8018. Some companies will use slightly different variations of the model number but they should all be pretty much the same.

This one looks decent:

But I would email and ask if they can throw in the backup camera.

Also, on Aug 19th (tomorrow) they are having a huge sale on the site with a lot of the suppliers participating. You may be able to get it cheaper if you look tomorrow (technically, I think it is tonight because of the time zone change).

That's a good price.

While you wait for it to ship, start reading every thread about every navigation system (including the older Flyaudio unit). There is a LOT to read but if you go through everything it will make the installation MUCH easier. There's some small details that can give you a headache if you miss them.

Start searching and start reading!
