Yeah that's a whole other story / thread but basically they didn't light up properly, some of the bulbs were out / not lighting up properly.

It was pretty horrible, one strip has only 2 led bulbs lighting up and the other had all but two lighting up so I had the shop de-activate them while I wait for replacements.

$1500 for oem's is allot of money but I think that is what I am going to have to do eventually.

LOL I don't know man... if they can somehow control the quality issues with the LEDs, they don't look bad to me. How did the replacements work out? Any better?

Also, I notice you're from Jersey, I am in the Philadelphia area. Let's hang sometime man, if you're close enough? Obviously if we are close, I'd ask you for the shop you went to for the lights and what they charged you for the installs ?

One other question about the Ebay lights... do they work with 06 cars that came with AFS? Or some modification was required?

I haven't installed the replacements yet, some how I suspect that the shop either didn't install them properly or damaged them during install because the driver side LED was working perfectly fine when they started the install with the bumper off. He showed me it working, when they first plugged it in, and the led strip was fine, then after they did the HID kit and finished installing the bumper and I came to pick it up, only 2 bulbs out of the led strips where working on the driver side.

SO I had them disable the strips all together and I actually don't mind the way it looks now. I actually like it allot so far, even with the LED strips off the car looks mean. Definitely way better than when I got it.

Check out these before and after pics.

Same parking lot.

I believe they are pretty much plug and play but I didn't do the install myself. My ride is an 2006 but im not sure about the AFS thing. Here is where I got mine.

I mean it's your car but it would be fitting with the headlight/bumper stunt you've pulled

How long have you had the strip lights? I heard some issues with quality control on them.

They were bad from day one. But IDK if I want to blame them just yet. My Alternater tested bad at AutoZone.... maybe she isn't getting enough juice to power both the led strips and the hid lights?
