I'm going into as the car better be in great condition. For 34k it better be garaged kept, no curb damage to wheels, all maintenance records, non smoker, etc. I have SGM but not a fan of the gray interior with black dash. I want black on black which this car is. What are the expected maintenance requirements I need to be ready for? I know spark plugs at 60k, maybe brake pads?? Here is a picture of the beast!!

I'd say $34K is the average market price on a 08 with <70k miles, or maybe depends on area. There isn't much major maintenance needed at 60K miles besides spark plugs. You can probably replace these if you are incline on mechanical parts. Also check the alignment, if the alignment is off then you'll need to replace the tires if there are any uneven wears, and these 19 inch tires aren't cheap. I think the rims are installed backwards in the picture ? or probably the picture is not clear. 08 has directional rims.

Check into the water pump. See if it was replaced under warranty. Mine started leaking at 39k miles.

Well it was not what I hoped. The guy didn't even wash the car!! Nav screen didn't work, needed rear bumper painted and two new tires. 3 wheels badly curbed with damage. I think the car had not been washed all summer. At least I got to drive it. What a difference from my 350!! I will keep looking around.

I found my car by doing a nation wide Auto Trader search. I researched a handful of cars until I found the one I bought. If you have the VIN number you can go to the lexus website and there is a link you can go to that allows you to see the service history of the car. Please note that the only service events you will see is work done by Lexus. Secondly, check to see if the car was owned by a fellow CL member. You can find out a lot about the car if they were a frequent poster. The previous owner of my F was a involved member. Before I even looked at the car I knew everything about it. Be open to look at out out state cars. I got the EXACT car I wanted in my price range, the only thing was I had to fly to New Mexico to pick it it, but the fun part was driving the beast home. Also run a carfax, to make sure the title is clear and whether or not the car has been in any accidents.

Hey how's the space in there? Is there more space in the Isf compared to the 250..Or is it exactly the same? Extra cup holders, leg space in the front and back etc...

There's actually less space because you lose the middle seat in the back in the ISF.....everything else is the same except the seats are better lol.
