Default Custom Grille

Well after a buddy of mine bashed my front end in, I got it fixed and asked the shop to put the old grille, grille surround, and emblem in my trunk since they were replacing it. I decided to make a custom grille like a did a few years ago on a Mazda that I had. I went to walmart and purchased a large sheet of aluminum mesh and cut it to fit and spend a couple hours bending and trimming to fit in perfectly. After about 20 cuts on my hands and a few hours of work I think it turned out pretty well. The main goal was to look good and be able to see the hella horns through very well. I went ahead and through some plastidip on it for the time being. black for the grille and white for the emblem. I used white floral wire to attach the emblem which worked pretty well. Now all I have to do is switch the insert over to the good surround and it will be done. Here is a test fit with the old surround.

Let me know what you think.

I noticed that but I cannot seem to make it any bigger. I emailed it from my phone to get it on my computer and I can open it up on my computer full size and it looks just fine. I do not know what happened in between here and there.

Hard to see it. Try using photobucket to resize.

Okay. I resized it, enhanced it as best I could and increased the brightness. This is about the best I can do. I will be switching the grille surrounds tomorrow and actually installing it so I will try to get a better picture then as well.

Ha. All I know how to do is resize and click the enhance button. I messed with every edit option photobucket has but not much made a difference. I will get good pictures tomorrow.

One last attempt to get a better picture from what I have. If this doesn't work just check back tomorrow afternoon and I will have it actually installed with multiple pictures. This is straight from my phone on the app instead of sending to my email.

I know. I think the problem is that in order to center them both I had to use a different hole on the passenger side. The holes are even but the passenger side one hits a lip so it stick out more and looks higher. I think I am going to grind down that lip and it should even out.

Looks Good!

You should get the emblem color matched for extra cleanliness.
