Default Whats the longest you guys went before replacing spark plugs?

The last (2nd owner) only had the car for like a year and is not sure
whether spark plugs were replaced. All of the recalls have been performed
by the main owner, as well as the exterior being in phenomenal shape for an '06.

Car has ~85k miles now. Its hard to put more than 8-9k miles per year here, so I wanted
to see if I can push it to like 100k miles, or is there any way I can just pop out 1 plug and
check if it looks old or new. I remember one owner on here said they went like ~120k.

For the IS250, you should change it at 60k because of the carbon build up issue. So I'd imagine the 350 to go to 90-100k

Thanks! Anyone with first hand experience changing them after 100k miles? Would
love to hear your report.

I changed mine @ 90K. Car was running fine, but didn't want to wait to have any performance problems

That's what I was wondering. Would taking out the easier one to remove, be representative
of the rest. Basically, would I be able to tell if they are original factory or changed at 60k.

Just curious, what are the consequences for not changing your spark plugs besides lower gas mileage, loss of performance, etc...? Does the engine really build more carbon if you don't change the spark plugs?

I changed mine @ 44k, car idled and ran smoother. I bought the car used so I figured why not do it... Took 30 mins also very inexpensive

It took you 30 minutes? Are you sure...
I think it would take a pro mechanic at a dealership
with full set of tools longer than that.

also curious to the answer of this question. I have 60k on mine and no real issues, except maybe a slighty lower MPG than normal (19 combined in NYC). Was thinking about changing them now but on the fence.

I had my plugs pulled @ 61k miles, and the plugs were in great shape. Replaced them with new OE plugs, and there was zero change in the performance or fuel mileage. Just a good prevenative maintenance thing regardless.

My mechanic was a certified Toyota mechanic, I tired to change my spark plugs at 60 k and he told me that my spark plugs are good til AT LEAST 90k. IM at 70 K right now and will replace them at 90 k or if I start experiencing any misfire.

I appreciate the input guys. The main thing I was asking is if there is any particular plug
that I can easily pull and check how it looks, or would you guys just replace all of them for piece of
mind even in the case the 60k tune-up was already done.
