Default Anyone buy their tires at Costco?

And if so, what do you recommend from this list?

Lexus quoted me for some Dunlap tires and alignment for around $1200. If i were to get the first model from costco, that would be only about $600 dollars for everything.

I live in the DC area so i would definitely need all-weather tires

I would get:

S04

RE760

RE970

instead of RE97AS

I got the RE760 from Costco for my rear, but wet and snow traction sucks.

I get tires from costco. I got the Pilot Super Sports for the IS350. They are awesome for a max performance tire. I got the RE11 A for the S2000 (I do not think they make the RE11A for a size suitable for the IS350).

TireRack or discount tire.

I love the guys at discount tire and their cert 3 year program.

If you want the best summer tire, StarSpecs ZII

I agree with robtwo, I find tirerack and discount tire being cheaper than Cosco most of the times.

For good value and performance summer tires, I go with Hankook v12. I bought the whole set for 475? + shipping the other day when it was onsale on tirerack. They have the new Hookook now which should be better.

+1 on the Starspecs. That is if you want the most traction and you track your car.

Discount Tire has very good service. They are always professional and price match most stores.

If you want to save on tax, order from DiscountTireDirect.com as their prices are usually lower than local stores and you don't get taxed (at least not in Colorado)

I didn't know about the road hazard. Will they replace all 4 if you have an AWD car?

Discount does free rotation, balance and flat repair mind you.

Costco does free rotation, balance, flat repair, and has road hazard. They are fairly liberal in their road hazard. My two of my grandmother 's tires bubbled when a curb at speed and when I took her car in they said it would not be covered under warranty normally since it was obviously not due to a road hazard, but they covered it anyways.

I've always gone to discount tires as they always have had excellent service and price match just about anything.
