Default Performance IS250

Whats out there?

would love for my car to breath better. Already got a cold air on it. Though Im thinking intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, Not such a loud exhaust system, been told the F sport exhaust is loud, and I live in a quiet community.

anyway I know Lexus has very little mods out there besides doing a 2jz swap. But tell me whats out there, how much? where to buy? what brands are good for lexus?

with IS250 you won't be able to push too much power out of it due to small engine.

There are no aftermarket intake manifolds for the IS 2nd generation. At least not to my knowledge. F sport exhaust is up to perspective. I dont think its too loud but some may say so check out some youtube clips or find someone with one to make your own judgement

+2 on f sport.

There is not much HP mod for IS250. This car is more of a luxury daily driver that offers some good handling. It is not intended as a track machine. You should have got IS350 or ISF or something else if you look for power.

F sport will be a good brand being it is Lexus performance parts. Try going PPE headers if you want more power.

Is the 250 horsepower 205 at the wheels or at the flywheel?

Accept it, we have a slow *** car. SLOW. But read my review on the injen SP series intake I just put in, and it just made it about 5x more fun to drive, and noticeable power gains everywhere, but especially 3.5k to redline. No i am not sponsored I am just bored and telling my experience as this is the first fully positive experience of ANY intake i've put on a car where no loss of low end power due to heat soaking or whatever, better gas milage, sounds amazing and loud but only past 4k rpm, no whistle when maintaining freeway speed, its cheap ($206 on ebay) and it's quiet when you want it to be unlike an exhaust. Also it's LEGAL in CA unlike the takeda. Make sure it's the SP series injen intake, because I think they have two. I used their other one 2 years ago, sucked **** so yeah just make sure it says it's the SP model.
