Default dashboard

I have a 2003 is300 with A CRUMMY LOOKING DASH,IS THAT NORMAL FOR THIS YEAR.

Yes, I don't know why but everyone i hear has the same problem. If you get alcohol and a dry rag (white preferably) you'll be able to get rid of it. Only apply on the stick parts & i hope you have patience. Good luck

I just had my dash redone. We have an interior paint/repair guy on lot. He sprayed it down with simple green first. This got rid of the sticky stuff. He then painted the entire dash ex let for the top pad, including the trim around the shifter. He used an interior black paint. It looks as close to factory as I could hope. I was very happy with how it turned out great.

Im about to do this. Mine needs it badly. So whats the best chemical to use to remove the sticky stuff? i heard armor all? simple green better? Im just gonna remove the sticky from the trim areas. the main top dash on mine is ok.
Also, what dash trim paint is the best for repaint?
