1. Lexus IS handles the best.
2. BMW 335i is the most powerful and had the best exhaust sound.
3. Audi is by far the worst in handling. Steering feel is too light, no road feel at all. Many others commented the same.
4. Lexus and Audi look best both exterior and interior. (subjective).
5. Benz is good overall but not best or worst in any area.
Where do you buy your performance parts?

The Audi is probably more family friendly compared to the 2IS. I say this only because while you can fit a car seat into the 2IS, it will likely be a very tight squeeze.

I'm sorry being a little confused. How is this question related to my previous post?

Anyways, to answer your question, I usually buy them from ClubLexus vendors such as Sewell or Lexus of Miami etc

Two of my biggest pet peeves are: 1) squeaks and rattles; and 2) unrefined transmission performance.

Can you give me a sense for how solid these are and if the automatic shifts smoothly? What are some of the weaknesses of these cars I should be aware of?

I'd be trading from a 2010 Acura TL, which has one of the most unrefined automatic transmissions in history.

Thanks for the feedback!

I own the IS250 and I now I regretted for not getting the IS350. I have no rattle at all and mine is 2009. I drove hard most of the time with power button on all the time. As long as you do the regular maintenance what it suppose to. If your budget allow you want the extra juice and have fun driving, definitely, get the 350. If you concern about fuel economy and budget, get the 250. If I have to do it all over again, 350 is a plus for me. That is just me.

Good luck.

ivnnln, don't be regretful about the IS250. It should not be a either IS250 or IS350 choice because it can be BOTH I bought the IS350 after I bought the IS250. In this way, you can appreciate the power of the IS350 even more because you can feel a day and night difference.

Would a GS AWD be a good pick? I imagine I could get a newer, lower mileage IS for what it would cost for an older, higher mileage GS. I do like the idea of having a slightly larger car.

Before I got my IS2, I also have the GS430 the older model with body style. I don't like the late model GS350 body style and the entertainment designed concept. It looks out dated. If you don't mind the entertainment designed concept, that would be a good route to go for more room with more horsepower same as IS3. Unless you get the 2013 model then it will be a new interior designed.

Look luck.
