Default 2006 IS250 Replacement Rear View Mirror?

Hey guys,

My rear view mirror is worn out and the glass is foggy. Is there a cheaper alternative than purchasing an IS250 rear view mirror for 250 on ebay? Can I purchase a generic brand that will fit an IS250?

Thanks

Is just the glass foggy? There is a company on the internet called Radarmirror that fixes the lense issues for only $99

The glass has a lot of marks. I'm not sure if it is just glass.

Thanks,

Yes exactly. When the auto dimming mirrors get old they tend to start deteriorating. That is just a lense issue. Like I said and from the above posts. Go to radarmirror.com and check them out. They fix the issue for $99

When I bought my car I installed one of these.

Amazon.com: Vission AM-43RVM14 Black 4.3" Factory Replacement Rearview Mirror Monitor: Automotive Amazon.com: Vission AM-43RVM14 Black 4.3" Factory Replacement Rearview Mirror Monitor: Automotive

I know it is not less expensive but you can get a backup camera at the same time if you do not already have one. I love mine. The only thing is that you lose the homelink and the compass but I live in an apartment and know what direction I am usually going. Just another option.

The mirror has a set screw right where it meets the windshield. loosen the set screw, slide the mirror up toward the headliner until it comes off the base plate then remove the wires from the back of the mirror.

I do not believe so but do not quote me on that. I have my 08 IS 250 saved on amazon so when I click on an automotive part it tells me if it fits and it did not pop up saying that it does fit.

I thought there was pretty much one company that makes them.

Had my own struggles with the mirrir and I put together a video talking about fixing the rattles. I do cover installing the mirror so you can do it in reverse to take it off
