At home I garage my car, but at work, I rather use a car cover.

I used to use a Nextec type of car cover on my previous car, but was reluctant to spend as much as I did last time so I ended up buying a different one on ebay for $155 that has all the breathable & won't scratch explanations.

Well, the quality wasn't as good at my nextec. Within 4 days, you can see a very thin film of dust on the windows when the sun hits it. I kid you not, the dust, on a very fine level, is getting through the car cover. Thats what I get for going cheaper.

So, I turn to my lexo community here, to ask other IS 250 owners, what car cover you use/recommend. We get a lot of dust where I work at, so i need something that doesn't let the dust through.

I got a cover king from costco for $120 on sale. Custom made for the IS so it is not a generic shape. Whenever I take the cover off, it is dust free and looks freshly waxed.

I should have mentioned my car is black. I use Meguia'rs car wash and the occasionall Meguia'r Waxer/Cleaner (in case anyone has data that these products attract more dust than not).

what color is your vehicle Dark?

I'm a member of Cosco so that $120 cover sounds tempting.

My car is obsidian black. I use mainly sealants like the meguiar nxt.
