Ever played around with Plasti Dip?
Just posted this over on the blog.
From what I've read it can be a pain to get it all off, but I've never hear about any finishes getting damaged. And they have some pretty sick colors available now. Check out the video to watch the transformation of this IS, and let me know what you think about PD in the comments.

Before getting my Lexus, I had an 08 Silverado that I had plastidipped the wheels, bed rails, grille, center part of the front bumper, the rear bumper, the emblems, and some interior parts. Works great if you are on a budget or change your mind all the time on what direction you want to take your car. easiest way to peel it off is to peel a little bit then power wash it off from that point.

I can you this... IF YOU EVER decide on going for a long road trip or go to some car show or track day... and don't want to get rock chips on your front end... plastic dip it... instead of MASKING it with tape... tape often takes forever, and a lot of people will know what the heck you'll be doing...
Clear plastic dip for windshield, headlights and fogs
Colored or more clear plastic dip the front end and rear quarter and fender for keep those road boogers off.
