Changing 07 Staggered Wheels to 09 Wheels - TPMS?
I'm wondering what needs to be done when changing my 07 stock wheels to 09 wheels (tires are already mounted). What would I or shop need to do to make sure TPMS to work? Both are staggered wheels so I believe wheel/tire sizes are the same.
Thanks in advance for help!

You will have to mate the TPMS sensors from the new wheels with your car. This is something you can do yourself if you have the techstream software and cable. If you don't, the dealer and most tire shops can do this for you.
As for second set - the IS can store 2 sets of TPMS sensors (Primary and Second). This is useful especially for people who swap from summer into winter wheels annually.

Basically you can use your current sensors and put them on the new wheels. If you choose to buy a new set then you'd have to mate them to the car so it can recognize them. Otherwise you'll get a light on the dash (which is just annoying but isn't too bad but it won't tell you when you're low on air).

Thanks for the replies! If I use the current sensors on the new wheels, would I still need to mate the sensors? Or will it just work? I don't need to keep the sensors on the old wheels so I would go with this.
If someone can give me an instruction on how to do it, that would be great!
