Yours don't have sunroof? I've noticed that most jdm ISx50s don't. In bye states, all do as standard equipment.

Doesn't seem to be a popular option in Japan. Never paid much attention but maybe only 20% at a guess

Aftermarket as well it would seem. Haven't found anything about them but they have built in LED DRL's

Finally tracked them down! http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2007-20...-/360063362892

Haven't seem them on any other one's in NZ so must be reasonably rare. Hadn't realised they were an HID OEM option

The rear is a '09-10 toms. That front lip is nice. I've never seen it before.

Another Kiwi here. Picked up the IS350 last year. Got an S with ML audio, sunroof, trash stash, DRL lamps and LX mode bits. Absolutely love it. Do you know if you've had the latest cam gear recall done? I'm curious to see which cars Lexus here will or wont do the recall on.

I'm jealous of the exhaust. I've been contemplating getting something but am unsure of what to get and where to source one - seems I'll have to get it from Japan.

Just curious, why do you guys call each other "kiwi's"?

So much drool over the JDM fogs

Looks great. It took me 3 months to find a ver L with sunroof in SGM or black with black interior, would have loved one with X mode bits, just to hard to find. Re recalls take a look at http://www.lexus.co.nz/en/servicing-...ormation.html#
says they will do VVT actuator recall regardless of import channel, wonder if that applies for all recall?. Fortunately I got service docs with mine and cam gear has been done.

I actually emailed the dealer about the recall this week. Haven't heard back but as you say, it's covered by Lexus NZ.

I haven't waded through the service history which came with mine. How's it recorded?

Droth, got any pics? I must have been lucky as I found mine within 4 days of getting in touch with an importer, I had missed out on a mint full toms kitted version L with similar spec earlier in the night, then this one came up and was a grade 4.5 and got lucky with my bid. I still look back at the pics of the other one and regret missing out, but them's the breaks.

Mine had arrived in NZ before the recall was released, Lexus NZ were really good about it and I managed to get some other work done at the same time as the recall.

Oh and the Kiwi thing, it's our national bird guess that's where it began.

I bid on probably 10 different cars over 3 or 4 months. Initially had wanted a black one but couldn't justify the extra $5k+ they seemed to go for.

Mine was a compromise on colour so I low-balled it on that basis. Came in even cheaper so can't complain.

My query has been forwarded onto Lexus NZ so we'll see what they come back with

I heard back and Lexus Japan confirmed that the recall had been done over there
