I took my car to an independent shop to get the timing cover leak fixed, unfortunately in the processes, the shop caused a new problem that wasn't there before. When I'm on an incline and idling, the "low oil pressure" warning comes on. After about 6 or 7 trips to the shop, they're still not able to remedy the situation. They've changed the oil pressure sensors and the level (?) sensor with no luck.

I then took my car to the dealer and they just want to change the engine block for $11,000, which is obviously out of the question for a 2006 IS 350 with 160k miles on it. I'm having a hard time believing the problem can be THAT serious though. Mechanically, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the car at all. No unusual noises, smells, smoke. No loss of power, I punch it and it still response as you'd expect with smooth revs to the redline, so I'm thinking the issue has to be something far simpler (and cheaper) to fix.

After a bit of googling, I've found that an "oil pressure switch" is something that can potentially cause the issues I'm experiencing. I have an idea of what it looks like, but no idea where it's located on the car. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any other suggestions on things to check are more then welcome too.
