Default A/C Not Working?

My AC was acting funny the last few days blowing fog from the driver side vents and now the AC is putting out no cool air. What is going on and how much money am I out?

Could be a number of things. Check to see if the compressor is turning on when the AC is on first.

Find a reputable mom-and-pop shop with proper A/C equipment ONSITE and have them look into it.

Can you hear the A/C compressor click on when you turn on the A/C?

Well I popped the hood and when I turn the AC on the belt does engage so I'm going to assume that the compressor is turning on.

Do you think there's a clog somewhere?

Do this; park outside, turn the A/C off completely, turn off the car, and let it sit for a bit. Pop the hood, turn on the car, and turn on the A/C. Do you hear a click from the compressor kicking in?

So its getting weird...the passenger side is blows cool air sometimes but usually warm while the air on the side is cooler on the driver side. Still not as cool as it used to be...and at night the AC works fine. I have the temperature set the same for both zones.

What the hell is going on? During the day its terrible and cools the car very slow. At night it works too well and I have to frequently put the temp up. Anyone have an idea...don't know any AC repair places near me.

I got to still find a good shop locally...

I have lot of work on the car to do

AC issue
Tires
Brakes

I might just fill it up with refrigerant and see how long it fixes the issue. Will tell me if its a leak or something. Also does the water drip from the unit just on the driver side or also the passenger side?
