Hey guys,

Do you know of anywhere, other than Sewell (shipping to Canada is ridiculous), to buy the steering damper?

Looking for pricing that is similar to Sewell with reasonable shipping.

Local dealer wants $85.00! The best they said they could do would be $50.00.

Has anyone tried making their own? If it's just a weight... shouldn't be hard to make your own, right?

If I can find it cheaper, I would much prefer that, obviously. If I can't then I guess dealer it is. Sucks that is is less than half the price (before shipping) on Sewell.

I wouldn't buy it. I install it when I was getting something else along with it. And I feel no difference. You can search for reviews on it.

And do what speedstar suggested, Lexus dealers on eBay are cheaper and they offer free shipping too

Where are you guys seeing these cheaper ones on eBay?

I can only find them for $60 and $70 after shipping to Canada.

That's cause the guys who posted don't live in Canada. You Already know shipping there sucks. So do like I said earlier. Pay to play buddy! I had it and it isn't a huge difference btw.

If you want it cheaper, buy it in the US. If you want to save on shipping, wait until you're heading down to the US and pick it up. If you have a friend in the US, have him pick it up and ship it to you the cheapest way possible.

You're not likely going to be able to get one in Canada for less than $50. I'm surprised they offered it to you for that cheap to be honest.

Or wait until you are buying something else from the US and have it shipped up with that.

There are options, but it's still cheap no matter how you slice it. If you want it, buy it.

I've noticed them on amazon fairly inexpensive. I don't see a real point to it honestly. Just like the apex pedal boosters.

Well my cheap *** finally decided to buy off of Sewell and get it shipped to the border.

I also figured since I am already making the trip and paying for some shipping, why not throw in a rear F sport sway bar, oil filter and a bottle of brake fluid.

All in all, cost less than just the sway bar at the dealer.
