Default can someone explain how this is possible?

So I work as a valet and this 06-08 is250 came up..
Saw his mileage and mpg

And one more thing. It drives like a lexus should drive
Still pulls and comfy

Anything is possible. The owner probably use this car to commute on the hwy. Lexus is well known to be the most reliable car.

I've seen my mpg as high as 40. Depends on how you drive and if on fwy.

yep, very possible indeed!
im mostly all highway @ 205,000.

the most i got was 450mi/tank, all highway. $60 of 93, not bad at all! Prius what!? lol

WTF....I wish I got good mileage. I drove up to DC a few weeks ago.....all highway. almost no traffic, cruising at around 75mph and got like 26mpg

you can cruise and get 40 mpg on an IS350 but youll be going 45 mph or so, traffic would get pissed at you

Tires make a difference too. Compare the stock to running 19/20 with sizes that throw of the mph.

I've only had my wheels on for a little over a month and haven't really noticed a difference in fuel economy.....and my speedometer is about 4pmh faster than actual.

Average isn't alway accurate but with my stock I can average 34mpg and with 19s 30mpg. But that all highway not city. Doing the real math I only get 370 on fill up.

ive have a tank avg. of 33.1mpg #IS350 hwy driving 180 miles @ 60-75 mph.

Yea I think I tend to rely on my car too much to tell me rather than actually figuring it out and getting the real mpg. I'm lazy

Tank average is very dependent on how you drive after the fill-up. I would look at the car average which includes all the fill-ups before the car being unplug. I get about 21mpg with 90% city driving. Coasting to stops is how you can get high mpg and save on brakes!
