This seems awesome, any updates? So worth for 30 bucks?

Default Got the leather steering wheel cover from Aliexpress.com

I ordered two covers with white stitching turns out it's silver stitching that looks even better. The fitment is really tight and the quality looks good. I'm very happy with it and it will work on my flat bottom steering wheel.

Here it is on the wheel. Very tight fitment. Took some effort to get it on.

Default This is the flat bottom steering wheel

This will be the tightest spot on the flat bottom steering wheel because at 8 and 4 o'clock on the wheel it is slightly thicker than the stock OEM wheel but it will stretch enough to make it work. I plan on taking it to a professional upholstery shop to have it sewn on. Took exactly three weeks to get it from China. The main reason I got this was to make the steering wheel thicker.

Damnit! I want to see it complete and sewn up! haha.

How's the quality feel? Any downsides or issues noticed?

I got mine last week. Just been too busy to try it on and frankly was waiting to see how Meguerra finished it for advice/pointers but seeing as he is taking it to a shop, I probably will try it this weekend..IF i get a break from work, kids, wife nagging...ahem...I mean requesting my presence...LOL

Found this video on youtube. Not quite exactly the same cover but shows how to stitch it up:

I'm also interested in this. How does the cover feel? How difficult was the application?

Thanks!

I don't think anyone has had a chance to install it yet. Looks time consuming, having to hand stitch it.

I am hoping to get a chance today to install it, if not, the weekend.

Finished it up this evening. Did quite well with the stitching until the end. I started rushing because it was getting late and I wanted to get the steering wheel back together.

Overall, it actually seems nice. Quality feels great and fitments is great.

Will post pics in the morning when I get a chance to really test it out and take some decent pics.
