Default 2011 New tires/front inner wear

Hi, I was changing the oil today and noticed my front tires have inner wear (the left front has the tire thread showing and bare patches)

I was wondering if I can use lobuxracer's alignment specs to help the problem?

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...alignment.html

I was also looking for some advice for which tire to buy. I'm from florida and the car will more than likely not see snow. The factory bridgestones lasted 40,000 miles for me and i was wanting something a little quieter but with decent handling (the bridgestones were fine in handling for me I don't really push the car) I also want something that will hold up in thread wear (I know getting quiet with good handling and good tread wear is impossible lol)

So any suggestions on tires? I've looked at old posts but don't know if somethings better as some of the suggestions have been discontinued now.

TIA

For dedicated summer tires which will not last 40,000 miles though, they are more likely be in the range of 15k-35k. However, they do offer excellent handling. Hankook v12, Michelin Pilot Super Sport (one of the best but very expensive) are recommended.

If you looking for more tread life (40,000-60,000 miles), you probably have to sacrifice handling performance a little bit. You then should be looking at the extreme performance all season tires. These are still very good for daily driving but not on track though. These are very good in the rain, very comfortable and quiet as well. Continental DWS or Michelin Pilot Sport are recommended here.

typically the higher the performance rating, the louder the tire. id get the DWS from continental. although they are all season tires they have a much higher tread wear rating (540 or 50,000 miles) than any summer tire and they are quieter as well.

Plus, the DWS are one of the best in wet traction.

So if I get the DWS does it preform better than the OEM tire? I felt that the oem ones were kinda loud and rough. I honestly want probably the same threadlife that I got now the rears are still good on my car its just the front inners that wore down otherwise the front would've lasted another 10-15K. I'm on tire rack and see that the DWS are 200 less than the PSS. If the PSS lasts longer and preforms better i can justify the 200 extra

I'm gonna get the DWS tires installed tomorrow just so i can use my car and have them check & give me a print out of the alignment (and possibly get the alignment corrected)

I think I'm going to end up putting something like that on just to prevent wear in the future
