Question regarding the two bolts that hold the caliper to the carrier. The two bolts actually thread into the caliper slider pins, this pin is designed to move back and forth.

My question is, when tightening the bolts, the slider pin eventually starts to spin, and I have to hold the slider pin with an open-end spanner while tightening the caliper bolt. Is this normal?
