Has anyone had their JDM window visors stolen? [Strongly considering buying them]

Default Has anyone had their JDM window visors stolen? [Strongly considering buying them]

Title pretty much says it all. I'm strongly considering buying the JDM window visors from:

http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/lexus-...m-window-visor

But $400 bucks is a good amount of change. How has it been for the community? Are these things getting jacked all the time? Do thieves know enough to recognize the $400 JDM version over, say, the $130 AVS version (not really a fan of these)?

I live in San Diego. (Fun Fact: San Diego is the 8th largest city by population in the US.)

Thanks for the feedback.

never had trouble with mine, though i do live in a good area

i think if stolen it would bend/warp the metal part, making it pointless.. just my 2¢.

That's a great point. So the chrome/metal part would bend and crease like aluminum.

Thanks for the feedback.

^ +1

I've parked in some sketchy areas in the past and never really worried about my visors. To add on the stealing part, it is possible to jack the visors off the car but it will be really difficult with the doors closed (if one doesn't know what they're doing) and increase the chances of bending or warping the visors.
