Default Rear end **click click click*

Now that I have been driving a lot with my windows down, I have been noticing a clicking sound coming from my rear end, mostly sounds like it is on the passenger side, but occasionally sounds more like the driver's side.

The noise is present generally when I am taking off from being stopped or coming to a stop. I mostly hear it when I leave from the house and pull out, I hear a **click click click**, sometimes only one click, sometimes 2 clicks... The easiest way to recreate the noise is if I drive forward a few feet, then backup a few feet, seems to make the noise the most when the load changes from front to back or vice versa.

Hoping for a simple fix, has anyone else had this issue before?

I should also mention that I recently lowered the car, on my own and in the driveway, so maybe I screwed something up? Not sure how long the noise has been present,

Seeing the recent suspension swap might have caused this new noise, I'd double-check all of the nuts/bolts to ensure everything is torqued. Also check the lug nuts.

Perhaps you can place a camera near or under the rear-end of the car so you can capture the sound and perhaps where it might be coming from.

GL!

Alright people... nothing to see here... move along...

Had a buddy move the car while I listened. Lug nuts needed to be torqued a bit more.

Buddy had a cts v, they were notorious for this. Had to get the lugs retorqued every month. Glad you figured it out !

Happened to my car too before I sold it. The guy at the shop didn't torque down the lugs also.

^This is the reason why I always check my lugs when I get home from any tire shop. I have to say though, I've NEVER had any issues with loose lugs or incorrect torque coming from Discount Tire.
