Since nobody has said it, I'll do it.

Pics of said girlfriend/culprit, only then can we decide if she deserves a pass or severely punished..

I let my mom drive my IS and she made a huge scratch on the side of the steering wheel, I just got a little mad at her and told her to be careful next time she drives it. If you feel likes it's that bad just get a used steering wheel in great condition and call it a day.

I think I love my car more than my girlfriend lol

It feels deep though, I have scratched the steering wheel before but it always self healed.

lol I wouldn't be surprised she hates two things about me....I spend my time either modding my car or at the gym and not enough with her. Especially lately as that car has gotten older and I feel more inclined to work on it.

This car is now 6 years old so not my first scratch but the car is very well kept and doesn't look it's age. Still every scratch since I bought the car has been just as painful.
I hear ya bro. I have three runs on my wheel at 1 o'clock, 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock. I'm gonna try the trade secret as I still have some left. Try the Trade Secret. The glue makes it pretty smooth and the dyes are very good. It may not be a perfect match but...

Or if it's really bugging you, get the DCTMS flat bottom wheel. I prefer the perf leather than the smooth one we have. My Saab had the perf leather wheel and I loved it.

I have really bad OCD but not enough to where I get bothered from a scratch on a steering wheel, its a highly used part on the car just like the inner door handle, either try some of the Trade Secrets or ignore it, only thing I can agree with is the super sensitive society,

I am having a local guy take a look at it tomorrow so hopefully I can get this sorted its pretty deep the picture is misleading. It feels like every time my hand rubs on it I am making it worse.

Plastic wrap the steering wheels like some old Asian parents do to their remote controls to preserve it haha. Just jokking lol. Good luck with your fix.

I would have thought the forum moderators would have shut down this posting. Most disagreeable.

Mine has a scratch just like that. Don't even know where it came from.

You should ask her what the 5 fingers said to the face.

She knows I love the car more than her so she tries to be super careful in my car. One time she spilled just a little water in my car when some jackass cut in front of me and slammed his brakes and even then she was scared.

It looks better today for some reason but I really don't think this thing can self heal. Let's see if this guy can fix it up a bit because I don't want to spend too much money right now. Trying to buy a new house soon!

Plus I just got the ivic in my car so I would hate to spend more money so soon on my car. Need to get new summer tires too!

i was expecting to see a crashed car, not a scratched steering wheel. Easily repairable, couldve been a LOT worse.

Really? This is ridiculous. I'd start seeing someone new if my significant other gets mad at me for something like this... Take a chill pill.
