Default 2011 IS 250 F-Sport, New wheels and lights

So finally decided on the wheels i wanted for my IS.. went with Vossen CV1's and stuck with the F-Sport color on the wheels as that color grew on me with the stock wheels.
While i was at it, smoked my tail lights and lower reflectors.

a few weeks back, wrapped my roof in CF and plasti-dipped the weather strip black.

Now looking for some good lowering springs.. just enough to close the wheel gap. not looking to slam it or anything.
a mild drop with a comfortable drive.

You guys in FL love those blacked out tails huh? If you like it, then I do too. Wheels look really nice, love the color. I'd recommend H&R springs. Good quality and not the lowest spring but low enough.

Yeah we love the blacked out tail lights here...HAHA
you recommend H&R? will look into it.. my other car is on coilovers and a lot lower.. so this one just want a mild drop.. was looking at the eibach pro kit as well. as i have had them on previous cars..

Nice clean car and great wheel choice. What are the specs of the wheels and tires?

I have Eibach Pro Kit paired with stock shock and I'm surprised it is comfortable as stock while handling is improved. H&R is also a good choice as well. Can't go wrong with these two brands.

do you have any pictures of how it sits with the eibachs?
the wheels are Vossen CV1's in Graphite and tires are Nitto Invo:
Front: 9, 235/30/20
Rear: 10.5, 275/25/20

Nice touch!
Here is a link for the suspension thread you can view the look of the eibach there. Or you can look at FsportIS's profile he has with eibach and wheels too.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...d-for-2is.html

Since you have the f-sport I would go with the h&r as well for a more flushed look to go with the nicer wide wheels. Like fsportis said eibachs are nice too. Had them on other cars and yes they are comfy enough compared to stock. The only reason I would go with the h&r springs is that all the f-sports are about .3" or .4" (I forgot the exact number but its in that range) lower than stock so the eibach doesn't give you the full inch drop (1" drop is rated for the stock isx50).

One thing I want to add is that there are 2 Eibach versions:
IS250 version drops: 1.4'' front, 1'' rear. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EIBACH-PRO-KIT-LOWERING-SPRINGS-SET-06-11-LEXUS-IS250-2WD-/130621174593?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AIS250&hash=item1e69a0f341&vxp=mtrIS350 version drops: 1'' front, 0.8'' rear. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EIBACH-PRO-KIT-LOWERING-SPRINGS-SET-06-11-LEXUS-IS350-/130621174594?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AIS350&hash=item1e69a0f342&vxp=mtr
H&R: 1.4'' front, 1.3'' rear

Yeah, azfprt is right. The F Sport factory package has about 0.2''-0.3'' drop front already and when I replaced them with the Eibach, I have about 1.25'' drop (not 1.4'') with the IS250 version. You would get the same in the front with the H&R drop as well since the H&R and the Eibach is250 version has same 1.4'' drop front. The H&R, however, will give you more drop on the rear (0.3'' more) than the Eibach IS250 version.

Here is the some before and after pics on my IS250 2012 F Sport car with the Eibach IS250 version springs.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...-sway-bar.html

No camber kit is needed because it is only a mild drop. My camber is still within specs after alignment.

I used Nite Shade.
It has very little pink look, but i know what you are talking about as it did show more on my other car.
but after a while it didnt.

Im also thinking of switching my turn signals to LED to make them brighter so can be seen better through the smoked lights.

Anything lower than the h&r springs I would look into getting the camber kit. its not necessary if you are choosing to get h&r or eibach. Just make sure you get your toe adjusted as close to zero as possible because improper toe alignment will wear your tire more.

Yep, I contacted Eibach about this prior to my installation and they confirm there is no camber kit needed for the IS and hence they don't make one for this application.

Make sure you have your alignment 1 week after the installation and yep like you said, 0 or very close to 0 toe is a must to save your tires.
