I love my flyaudio/alibaba Nav unit. Sometimes the GPS takes a little bit to get going before it finds your position but it works and works well! Paid just shy of 600 for it and worth every penny!. And that dude Metaleckz just share the crazy nice screen update for it. I put it on my car and its no going back
And don't regre not getting the navi, just get the chinese unit off of alibaba. Once you figure everything out and modify a few things, it's a great unit!

I had a similar concern when I bought my IS350 way back in Dec 2007. For the funds I had I could either get the nav package on an IS250 or get an IS350 w/out Nav. Some how those 2 options were about the same cost. Went with the 350 and have never looked back. So happy with my decision as the Nav would have been way outdated by now and my phone does a great job getting me where I need to go. The extra 100hp and good brakes more than make up for the lack of Nav

i completely agree. i never use my navi! the touch screen also stopped working for me some time last year and the car was out of warranty, so i ended up going to this local place and they fixed it for me.. for 800... i wish i had known about the flyaudio system earlier

Thanks peeps! I"m feeling less angsty about it. In all honesty I prolly wouldn't use the navigation much, but i agree the navigation version looks so much nicer. Looking into Flyaudio navigation. Thanks for the suggestions and consolation
