Arrow Look at this....somebody come take a look at this....

Anyone get the reference in the thread title? lol

Anywho....does anyone else have this problem? It drives me insane!!!! Not only does it not go all the way down but at the very edge of the wiper it doesn't clear the window bc it isn't flush. I tried getting the Rain X Latitudes with the curved blades to see if that helped....nope. I have another friend with an IS and he said his is like that too. Is it a birth defect?

You might have gotten the wrong size wipper and I had those on my IS250 and I had no issues.

I don't have this problem on both IS. Did you do the windshield wiper recall thingy? May be that might fix it.

Mine was the same way with aftermarket wipers. I bought OEM from the dealer and never had another problem.

I don't know what mine had on it when I bought it.....I hope they weren't OEM because it did it with those too. I'm going to try it though!

I have used multiple wiper brands on my 2010 IS250 and 2011 IS350 and I have never had that problem , before and after the recall.

I believe that was an inability to swipe under a heavy load. I don't think that is whats happening here.

I think this might be your fix OP.

Although I've had someone recommend the RainX wipers.

FYI...the wipers should be different lengths, the driver side always being the longer of the two

I just thought it was a little weird that I found another one with the same problem. We are both apparently retarded lol.

I loved them for my Subaru.....them and the Bosch Icons were the only ones I used.

In my almost 15 years of driving a motorized vehicle I can honestly say that I have never done this lol and if I did I would notice right away.....I like to test out my fancy new wipers when I install them.

Honestly I don't really even see why you would get anything other than the factory replacement inserts. They cost less than $15 and take maybe 1 minute to replace, and you keep the OEM look. The factory wipers work fine, and should be replaced each year anyways...

They might have re - installed it incorrectly after the wiper recall.
The OEM wiper inserts are very inexpensive and work very well. However, you will have to buy the whole wiper assemblies (probably $40-$50) since you replaced the whole assy with Aftermarket.
I am no OCD but that would drive me nut as well
