My car has been so reliable the last year, I've had no need to go to the dealer for anything. The downside to that is I don't have a chance to have them take care of some little things. Recently, I've noticed my sunroof is sounding a little "dry" when opening and closing. It's working fine and there are no rattles, but it appears the grease on the tracks is nearly dried up. So I'm thinking of adding a little slick to it, but am unsure as to what the dealer would use or suggest. Would Vaseline do the trick by applying some ontop the tracks? Or is there a particular automotive grease the dealer would likely use? I'd appreciate any info.

I would recommend 3M 08877 Silicone Lubricant Plus (Wet Type) and I have been using it with good result.

It has tons of good reviews on Amazon. Check it out.

Oil-based white lithium grease...and it doesn't take much on the tracks.
