I had a P3D4-12 in my 300 back when i had it paired with a R5001-d. It was way overkill for what I liked, but it did produce good results I guess you could say.

For 400, you gonna have to buy used if you want find a legit sub and amp

Im running 12w6 with a 500/1 ported box and couldn't be happier. You can hear me coming down from the street if I crank up the volume. If I did it again, I'd prob go with a sealed box.

Your going to need a wiring kit, a sub, and a amp.

Gut your interior, run the power from battery to the back (amp) and run the ground on the other side (to reduce static/feedback)

Like I said around that price range you'd prob have to go used.

Unless you don't mind Kickers, Rockford, etc. some of the lower budget brands.

I can tell...

A simple google search would honestly answer most of your questions.

JL 12w6v2 or JL 12w6v3 Subwoofer.
JL 500/1v2 amp

Its a monoblock amp for 1 subwoofer, I dont know why you would need a 4 channel amp unless you getting components or axials (i.e. interior speakers) in your car.

yes thats exactly the subwoofer im talking about, and thats exactly why I said you wont find any decent brand around 500 for a whole setup unless you buy used or shop lower end brands
