Here's my setup, nothing pretty but it doesn't take up much space & cost me under $300 for supplies & install....loud/deep enough to keep the bass under the mid level on the equalizer too .

-Used Alpine MRP-M500 amp....older model but still a great amp, check reviews. ($42 on eBay)
-Stinger amp wiring kit, new ($20....item # 300968966086 on eBay)
-Rockford Fosgate 10" sub w/ box, new ($87.....item # 351006687530 on eBay)
-Scosche line output converter ($17 @ Walmart)

Ran the power line for the amp myself & had a local shop install the rest/tune the amp for $120.

it does shake everything in the car. Even my clothes or girls hair haha.
