Default Installed F-sports seats and car won't start.....

I have a "base" model '06 IS350. I recently traded my seats for a set of '13 F sport seats. Everything plugs in on the driver side. On the passenger side, 1 plug is different and doesn't plug it. Battery was disconnected for the seat swap. Reconnected the battery and the key isn't being recognized. Car won't start now. Is it from the one plug in the seat or is it something else? Thanks.

Did you hold the key fob RIGHT NEXT to the start button? Perhaps time for a new key fob battery?

Replaced the key fob and the car starts. Thanks guys.

Seats were bought off the classifieds here. No lights on the dash. Btw, f-sport seats feels more much supportive and sporty compared to the base seats.

Don't . The regular seats with cooling/heating feels more comfortable than the F Sport seats with only heating feature lol. Not to mention regular seats has way more room and when you try to lower it to take a nap, it is day and night different. You will appreciate the regular seats much more especially in the hot summer lol.

I agree with you on the nap thing.. the bolstering on the ISF and Fsport seats make it very tough.. but still worth the change IMO.

^Tell me about it! It was 97 degrees here yesterday; it was the first time this year I used the vented seats.
