250/350 Headlights
I have a 2006 IS350 trying to do a headlight conversion for the newer LED look. OEM is a little more than I'd like to spend and came across these

They are made for the IS250 but would they fit the 350?

I'm pretty sure they would, though ive never delt with those before, would definitely like to hear a review on those. Only down side to those is that they do not have the auto focus head lights, n I'm not sure how great the light out put would b with the kind of bulb they use

I don't know if the same applies to HID but OEM will always have a better light pattern. OEM will have better UV protection. If you plan on keeping the car for several years I would just pay for the Lexus part. Just my $.02

I have 2 cars: one with OEM 2012 HID with LED and one without and I'm also considering this upgrade since it is so much cheaper than the OEM one that cost 5 times more or so.
For the UV protection, no matter OEM or not, they are still affected unless you have put something to it. Don't trust me, look at many headlights on many cars, lots of the old ones have yellowed out even if they are OEM.
For strong UV protection, I would suggest the following:
1. 3M clear bra on first layer (the clear bra itself has UV protection).
2. Apply Opticoat on top of the 3M clear bra (the Opticoat is like a permanent clear coat that offer better UV protection than factory clear bra).
3. Apply UV protectant on it every once a month. Two super good products would be: A. Meguiars Headlight Protectant or B. 303 Aerospace protectant (SPF of 40).
I have done this and in more than 2 years, my headlights still look new like in day 1.
