I've pulled the trigger already so lets see what happens. Worse comes to worse I'm out $400 but at least dove in as the tester for CL.

I'm wondering how the SMTs are incorporated. If they are soldered into a circuit board or strip, I can easily desolder and put in some higher quality 5k SMT LEDs. That paired with a projector retrofit, will hopefully mimic the 2012 headlights for <$450.

Bought a set too! Mine already shipped so hopefully I get a new project this weekend. For those complain about hid, you can always get them after market one also.

Probably take a couple weeks if they come from china. Interested to get all the feedback!

Since these were literally just released, I'm sure everyone is curious. As soon as I saw that they seem to bulge out more than the OEM headlights, I lost all interest in buying them for my car lol.

There are also some sellers who act as intermediaries for China, ie. they will take the order you placed, then place an order to China. When it comes in, they ship it to you. knbkguyen I would check to make sure that is not the case lol

K2motor's auction has a fairly complete set of pictures mounted on a white car, and personally I think they look great. I'll definitely be adding these to my list of summer make over parts. Excited to hear what other members think of them when they receive theirs.
