Default Volk wheels on IS

I have a set of Volk GT7 wheels that I had on my G35. I didn't think they would fit the IS but after seeing someone on here put a set of 370Z wheels on an IS I am wondering if they would now. Does anyone know? They are 19x9 and 19x10 I think. I have a IS250.

Should be the same bolt pattern 5x114.3 but you might need hub ring to fit. Depends also if your RWD or awd? Tire size for fitments and offset.

Great thanks. I have staggered wheels but they are only an inch difference to I am going to give it a try. I will have to get some TPMS ordered though since my G35 didn't have them.

should work...maybe be a tad aggressive so look out for fender touches, so you may have to roll the fronts and shave the rears

Ya what he said.. Roll fenders and or tires low profile. So depends on your offset too.

Offset would definitely help....you don't know it?

I just found the old thread from the guy I bought them from on g35driver and they are:

19 x 8.5 +23 on 245/35
19 x 9.5 +24 on 275/30

Where is the best place to get TPMS? Used ones on ebay?

i used to have a set of GT7's on my IS350 the specs were a tad off from what i wanted so i ended up selling.

-19x8.5 +42 front and back.
-Front tires-225/40ZR19
-Back tires-245/40ZR19

i had to use a spacer to clear the brakes and the front rubbed while turning.
also i was on stock suspension bumps in the road caused rubbing as well.

The lower offset will give me more clearance correct or will I be rubbing with these? I am not lowered right now but might in the future.

I think tires size is over kill for IS. Take the 245/35 to the rear and get 225/35 front. But you can test fit to see if the size works for you.

Someone who knows correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that because you have a more aggressive offset than I did that you will be able to clear your brakes. Only because offset is basically pushing or pulling the barrel of the wheel in or out, not having anything to do with how close the spokes are to the brake system.

Well they cleared my brakes on my G and I am sure the brakes were much larger than the ones on the IS250. I am more concerned about rubbing though. I wouldn't go out and buy rims with these specs for the IS but since I already have them I thought they would be worth a shot. If not I will sell them on g35driver but it will probably be hard to let the wife let me turn around and get another set.

you can try to put them on and see what happens. Worst case you can go to Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts and get a 5/16th spacer. that was enough for me. good luck and keep us posted!

The lower the offset the greater chance of rubbing. Basically the lower you go the closer to the fender your wheel will sit.

Here's an example....top pic is +35 offset....bottom is +22. I know I was lower in the second pic and I have way smaller tires lol, but I had to do a hit to make that offset fit.
