Default Hardwiring my radar detector into my fuse box, where would be the best place to do it

So as the title says, I'm hardwiring my radar into my fuse box of my 07' IS250. I have everything ready to go, but I need to know the best place to plug the add-a-fuse with 2 10amp fuses. I have the cover and took a picture. I would love some help on this. (Picture of cover below)

I was thinking TV No.1 might be good for this, would that work? And 2 10amp fuses would work for this, correct?

I hard wired my valentine one into the power cables that control the sun roof. It's worked fine for the last 5 months.

Where does that cover go to? Mine came off and I've no idea where it goes.

Status report: ended up going with TV1 and it works fine! Hid the wires and it's pretty clean. I'm running a passport escort 8500 x50.

Where did you run your wires?

Radar Detector require very lower power. Just tap onto the power source off the mirror or rain sensor. That way you dont have to run the wires up the pillar. There should be a very detail diy floating around.

That's a lot of wire to run from under the dash to the top of the headliner and back down to the radar. Where did you hide all the wires? Did you remove your a pillars to pull the wire through?

I tapped mine into the mirror and tucked the wiring into the headliner. When the radar isnt in use the wiring can easily be hidden away

I actually ran it along the top and tucked it into the lining. I ran it around the A pillar and then around the rubber siding on the door. then just had a tiny cross of the wire come out (you only see about 1in of wire) that disappears under the steering column. I can take pictures tomorrow if you guys want. I know I could have done the mirror, but I didn't realize that until I ordered the smart cord.

Clean install. Did you tap the dome light?

I tapped into my rear view mirror for my Escort detector. It was easy and clean.

Just take the rear view mirror off and tap into the rear view mirrors harness it self on a work bench. Then its plug and play.. You'll have to find out what is the power and ground wires to tap into. They sell modified wire tap on amazon to do this kind of thing. I also used a Mirrormount to mount it under the mirror as well.
