Mine has been doing this too recently. Pretty annoying. May just have it looked when I get the car serviced next.

After seeing how much work it would take to remove headliner and how easy it can be to break or crease the headliner I turned away lol so I had some tape which is pretty much like speaker foam 1/4" thick and cut a 3ft piece off and was able to sneak it right where the rear windshield meets the headliner cant even tell its there

I attempted this with the stuff you recommended, and im still getting the noise just as bad, or maybe worse. I tucked it all the way in, leaving no speaker foam tape outside of the headliner. im gonna mess around with the placement over the weekend. let me know if you did it a specific way.

So, revisiting this thread. Does anyone have any updated info on how to fix the squeaking/creaking for good, without trimming the glass stoppers? I shoved the foam tape over the stoppers, but the back window still creaks like hell. Can someone walk me through it?
