Default IS350 How to reset ECU

Hello everyone,

How do you reset the ECU in a 2007 IS350? I just got the car and it revs really high and it changes gears really early. It's already at 6th gear at 40MPH. Will resetting the ECU fix this? How do i reset it? Thanks everyone!

Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes. Doing so will also allow the ecu to learn your driving style and make adjustments accordingly.

FYI under normal driving (not driving like you stole it), shifting will typically occur slightly below 3k rpms and it is common for the car to shift to 6th gear at around 40 mph for better fuel efficiency.
